Effingham, IL – January 4, 2024, The Effingham County Chamber will hold its Annual Chamber Gala on Saturday, January 20, 2024, at the Thelma Keller Convention Center where the 2024 Excellence in Business recipients will be honored.
The Excellence in Business award was created in 2011 as a way for member businesses to identify and nominate fellow members for the outstanding contributions they make to our communities and the local economy through continued growth, innovation, and community support. These businesses exemplify outstanding business practice as demonstrated through their mission, customer satisfaction, commitment to quality, leadership, and employee development.
The Chamber is pleased to recognize and honor two local businesses as the 2024 Excellence in Business recipients: The Beanstalk Boutique/Humbled Soul Boutique and Pyramid Marble & Granite.
The Beanstalk Boutique/Humbled Soul Boutique (HSB)
In 2017, owner Sara Ruholl purchased the existing business, Baby and the Beanstalk and quickly outgrew the “baby” items and expanded and rebranded to what is now The Beanstalk Boutique. What sets Beanstalk Boutique apart is the focus they have on custom orders. They specialize in embroidery and sublimation. Many of their items can be personalized and it’s included in the price of the item.
In July of 2022, Sara opened HSB after several years of customers asking for items that wouldn’t fit into The Beanstalk Boutique. The goal is to carry a wide variety of items to please everyone’s shopping experiences.
