Effingham, IL – December 15, 2023, The Effingham County Chamber is thrilled to announce one of the newest additions to its dynamic community, extending a warm welcome to Flying Buddha Fitness, a fitness haven that combines fun and enrichment in achieving physical and mental health goals.

Flying Buddha Fitness, located at 14225 East 1600th Avenue, Suite B, in Effingham, embodies the philosophy that exercise can be both enjoyable and fulfilling. The studio offers a unique blend of bungee fitness and yoga, aiming to address the full well-being of each participant. Their classes are designed to help individuals reach their health goals while leaving them feeling better inside and out.

Owners Karie Apke and Vicki Funneman bring a wealth of experience and expertise to Flying Buddha Fitness:

Karie Apke: Certified bungee fitness instructor, certified personal trainer, and a health care provider with over 20 years of experience.

Vicki Funneman: A 200 RYT Yoga Teacher, certified bungee fitness instructor, and yoga teacher for four years, with certifications in mindful meditation and movement, as well as yoga for athletes training.

Flying Buddha Fitness offers a variety of classes, including different levels of bungee, aerial yoga, traditional yoga, Mommy and Me, Sensory Play for Kids, and more. They provide flexible pricing options for individual classes, multiple classes, or a monthly unlimited option.
