Layna’s journey began at Lake Land College in Mattoon, IL, where she demonstrated her commitment to both academics and community involvement as a member of the livestock judging team and a student ambassador. Her passion for agriculture and leadership continued to flourish at Oklahoma State University, where she excelled as a member of the 2017 National Livestock Judging Team and the 2017 Reserve National Meat Evaluation Team.
Beyond her work in insurance, Layna actively contributes to the community. She coordinates over 10 shows across the state, hosts multiple fundraising events, and plays a vital role in mentoring youth in the show pig industry. Her dedication to the livestock industry is further exemplified through volunteering at numerous shows across the state.
Layna Bond & Associates is licensed in multiple states, including AZ, IL, IN, IA, KS, MO, ND, OH, OK, SD, and WI, with two total office locations in Effingham and Highland, IL.
We are delighted to share that Layna recently earned the prestigious title of State Agency of the Month for Illinois in November 2023, a testament to her outstanding contributions and commitment to excellence.
In addition to her professional achievements, Layna recently celebrated the renovation of her office with a ribbon-cutting ceremony.
