Effingham, IL — Crossroads Disaster Relief NFP invites the community to a day of fun, competition, and giving back at the upcoming Beach Bash, taking place Saturday, June 28, 2025, at Lake Sara Beach in Effingham.
The Beach Bash is designed for families, friends, and neighbors to enjoy a full day at the lake while supporting a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the event will benefit CDR NFP’s local disaster relief efforts and support for first responders.
Festivities begin at 9:00 a.m. with disc golf, sand volleyball, and pickleball tournaments, followed by the always-popular Firefighter Games at 12:30 p.m. The fun continues throughout the day with raffle drawings, auctions, food and beverages, and live music beginning at 3:30 p.m. by the Matt Poss Band. Attendees can also experience free community wellness treatments provided by Light MD and the Neeuro Senze Band.
An adult after party will cap off the day at The Rusty Reel, offering a chance to unwind and celebrate the community’s generosity.
Food will be available all day, thanks to sponsorship support from Nuxoll Food Center, and beverage tickets will be sold onsite. This event is open to the public and suitable for all ages.
