Effingham, Illinois – January 10, 2024, HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital is proud to partner with the Senior Services of Effingham County to offer a new “Savvy Senior” program and luncheon throughout the year. First in series of programs will be Thurs., Jan. 18 about pain management

Held at 11 a.m. the third Thursday every other month, this free informational program offers various topics to help seniors take control of their health and healing. The program and luncheon will be held at the Senior Services of Effingham County-Activity Center, 209 South Merchant Street in Effingham. The topics will be presented by the expert doctors and colleagues of HSHS St. Anthony’s.

 The topic schedule for 2024 includes:

  • Pain Management – Jan. 18, 2024
  • Wound Healing – March 21, 2024
  • Hospital Happenings – May 16, 2024
  • Cardiovascular Health – July 18, 2024
  • Women’s Wellness and Cancer Services – Sept. 19, 2024
  • Rehabilitation and Wellness – Nov. 21, 2024

Please make a reservation to attend each session. Seniors may call 217-347-5569 for more information or to make your reservations. Please call no later than two days before each date. The deadline for the January event is Jan. 16.
