Effingham, IL – September 11, 2025 – The Effingham County Chamber welcomes Conspectus Gaming, owned by Chet Bogdajewicz, as a new Chamber member and a valued addition to the Downtown Effingham Business Group.
Located at 302 W Jefferson Ave. in Downtown Effingham, Conspectus Gaming brings a new dimension of entertainment and community to the area. The name Conspectus—meaning “comprehensive view or a deep understanding of”—captures the business’s mission to provide an engaging space where both new and experienced players can explore tabletop and trading card games.
The shop features a wide variety of popular games, including Magic: The Gathering, Pokémon, Lorcana, Star Wars Unlimited, One Piece, and Warhammer. In addition to its retail offerings, Conspectus Gaming hosts tournaments, events, and casual play nights designed to connect players of all ages and skill levels.
Hours of operation are Tuesday through Thursday from 12–6 PM, and Friday through Saturday from 12–9 PM. The shop is closed on Sundays and Mondays.
