Retail Sales Development

Department: Sales
Reports to: Sales Manager
FLSA Class: Non-Exempt

Summary:
The position is responsible for assisting sales with processing quotes, managing existing accounts, and maintaining customer relationships on a daily basis to meet sales goal. Basic computer skills are required for this position. Design and/or sales experience is preferred as well. This position is also responsible for representing the company in an honest, professional, and ethical business manner.

Duties:

• Provide our sales people with quotes ready to present to customers
• Help Greet customers as they enter the showroom and acquire basic information.
• Assist with answering phones and directing calls to the appropriate departments.
• Design, price, and prepare job for Sales Person.
• Assist with keeping Showroom Organized and Neat.
• Assisting sales people on the floor if they need help – Ex. Pull Samples
• Perform miscellaneous administrative duties.
• Clean, organize, process improvement done daily.
• Design/layout custom cabinet jobs in Cabinet Vision.
• Assist with special projects assigned by management.
• Measure, create, and process cabinet paperwork, prints, and drawings.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Must have strong interpersonal skills, maturity and good judgment; demonstrates a positive can-do attitude; have effective communication skills with a diverse range of individuals.
• Is comfortable working in a complex, competitive, and fast paced work environment.
• Ability to read blue prints, sketches, drawings, etc.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills, self-motivated, self-starter, personable and professional.
• Computer knowledge and experience in Microsoft Office.
• Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
• Ability to lift and carry up to 20 lbs.
• Ability to push/pull up to 10 lbs.

Scheduling:
The normal working hours are from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Some Saturday hours required. The schedule is subject to change with production demands. Overtime is required when requested.

Pay range $18.00 – $24.00/hour
