We’re looking for a reliable Deli/Kitchen employee to support daily food prep, cooking, sandwich assembly, food safety, and light cleaning. Ideal candidate is hardworking, punctual, and comfortable working in a fast-paced environment.

16-28 hours a week | paid leave | ESOP & 401K | $15.50/hr

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare ingredients (slice meats/cheeses, chop vegetables, portion salads)
  • Assemble sandwiches, wraps, and hot plates to recipe and customer requests
  • Operate kitchen equipment (grill, slicer, ovens) safely
  • Maintain food safety and sanitation standards (clean stations, wash dishes, take out trash)
  • Monitor inventory and restock supplies as needed
  • Assist with receiving deliveries and proper storage/labeling
  • Provide friendly customer service at counter during busy periods
  • Follow opening/closing procedures as assigned

Qualifications:

  • Prior experience in deli, sandwich shop, or kitchen helpful but not required — training provided
  • Food Handler’s Permit or willingness to obtain
  • Ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 50 lbs, and perform repetitive tasks
  • Strong attention to cleanliness, time management, and teamwork
  • Flexible availability including weekends and some evenings
  • Good communication skills and positive attitude

  • You must be available weekends and holidays
  • You must be 18 years of age
