Celebrate the Top Leaders Under 40 and Future Leaders at the Top Leaders Recognition Dinner on Thursday, November 19, presented by HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital.

The evening recognizes individuals who are making an impact through their leadership, professional achievements, involvement in their schools and workplaces, and commitment to the Effingham County community.

Top Leaders Under 40 recognizes individuals ages 20–40 who live or work in Effingham County, while Future Leaders recognizes high school students who are already demonstrating leadership and involvement in their schools and communities.

Help us recognize the people making a difference today and those who are just getting started.

Nominations close September 12, 2026.

Future Leaders
Nomination Criteria:
Must be between the ages of 14-20 as of August 1, 2026
Must be a full-time high school student in Effingham County*
Must have at least a “B” average
Must be involved in extracurricular activities through school or leadership organizations
Must have significant contributions to his/her community as a leader
Cannot be a previous recipient

*School districts | Altamont, Beecher City, Dieterich, Effingham, St. Anthony, & Teutopolis

Under 40
Nomination Criteria:
Must be between the ages of 20-40 as of August 1, 2026
Must live/work in Effingham County
Must have significant contributions to his/her community as a leader
Must not be a previous recipient
