Effingham, Illinois – Washington Savings Bank proudly welcomes John Sipes as Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer. He will supervise all of Washington Savings Bank’s accounting and finance functions.
Sipes’ career in banking began in 1994 as a customer service representative and Vault Teller for Bank Illinois in Champaign. Since 2003 he has been with First Mid Bank & Trust in Mattoon. He served as Vice President, Asset/Liability Manager, and Investment Officer.
