Dieterich, Ill. (April 2, 2024) Wright’s Furniture & Flooring, a fifth-generation family-owned business is proud to announce Wright’s Distribution Center, located in Dieterich Industrial Park East, is officially open and running. The project, a 31,000-square-foot warehouse facility, officially broke ground in May of 2023 and is located at 205 Corporate Street in Dieterich. The family business has been a part of the Dieterich community since it first opened its doors at its flagship store in 1889.
“We are so excited that our new distribution center is finally open and our inventory can be under one roof,” said Alex Wright, Vice President of Wright’s Furniture & Flooring. “The pandemic showed us what a huge benefit it was for us to have our inventory and our product immediately available when so many other large furniture chains were struggling to get inventory. We also are excited for our customers to be able to get their furniture faster and easier, with our convenient customer pickup service at the warehouse. We would like to thank the Village of Dieterich, Dieterich Community Bank and AKRA Builders, for helping bring our vision of this warehouse to life.”
The space provides a centralized location for the business to store their products. It also includes a convenient customer pick-up area and a dedicated repair space where most customer service issues can be handled. Wright said having more room for inventory will also give the business additional buying power. Wright’s Furniture & Flooring’s flagship store is located in Dieterich and Wright at Home is located in Effingham. The family business expanded to its third storefront in Robinson in 2019 and its fourth storefront location in Taylorville in 2019. Interior design services are offered at all four storefronts.
