This achievement is a testament to the hard work and dedication Kayla has put into her career. She is a tremendous asset to the community, and we look forward to her continued success in the profession.
Kayla grew up in Strasburg, Illinois, and graduated from Stewardson-Strasburg High School. She attended Culver-Stockton College in Canton, MO, where she played volleyball and graduated in 2010 with a Bachelor of Science degree, double majoring in accounting and finance. In 2012, she graduated with a Master’s of Business Administration degree from Quincy University. Kayla began working in public accounting and obtained her CPA license shortly after. Kayla started working for West & Company in 2017. She is a member of the Illinois CPA Society and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants. Kayla now resides in Effingham, where she volunteers as treasurer of the Effingham County United Way board of directors. In her free time, she enjoys traveling, going to concerts and the theater, doing home renovation projects, and cheering on her nephews and niece at their sporting events.
