CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – WCIA is proud to announce the launch of a refreshed CI Living, debuting August 24, 2026, featuring a new look, an updated format, and new host Kayla Campbell.
Rooted in a longstanding tradition of showcasing the best of Central Illinois, CI Living is entering a new chapter with a refreshed brand identity and modernized format. While viewers will notice a fresh new look, the show’s focus on celebrating local communities remains at its core.
The reimagined show features a bold new brand identity, including a new logo and visual design, alongside a refreshed format focused on meaningful local stories, community connections, entertainment, and lifestyle content that celebrates everything Central Illinois has to offer. The updated format will feature recurring franchise segments, local business spotlights, community stories, food, health and wellness content, and conversations focused on the people and experiences that define life in Central Illinois.
“This is more than a new look. It’s a new era for the show,” said Angie Salas, Vice President and General Manager of WCIA. “CI Living has always been about connecting people with our community. As we looked toward the future, we wanted to create a program that feels modern, energetic, and authentic while staying true to what has made the show special for so many years.”
Leading the new chapter is Kayla Campbell, who will serve as host beginning August 24. Campbell brings a passion for storytelling, a strong connection to the community, and an enthusiasm for discovering and sharing the stories that matter most to Central Illinois viewers.
“I’m excited to be joining the CI Living team,” said Campbell. “I’m looking forward to bringing a fresh new flair and style to Central Illinois while highlighting the people, businesses, and stories that make our communities so special.”
The refreshed CI Living will continue to showcase local businesses, nonprofits, community events, entertainment, health, wellness, food, and lifestyle trends while creating new opportunities for audience engagement and local storytelling.
Viewers can watch the new CI Living beginning Monday, August 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. on WCIA 3. Episodes will also be available to stream on the free WCIA 3+ CTV app, making it easier than ever to stay connected to the stories, businesses, and events shaping Central Illinois.
