In response to challenges posed by recent FAFSA changes affecting students, Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation announces an extension of the application deadline for all scholarship opportunities to 11:59 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2024.

· Deadline Extension: The new deadline provides students with additional time to navigate challenges associated with FAFSA changes.

· Application Process: Interested applicants are required to complete the Southeastern Illinois Community Foundation Common Scholarship application, available online at southeasternillinois.org/students.

· Supplemental Information: Once the common application is submitted, applicants will provide supplemental information for additional scholarship opportunities.

· Required Documents: Applicants must include a high school or college transcript, ACT or SAT scores (if applicable), and college financial aid information.
