Effingham, IL – February 11, 2026— The Effingham County Chamber welcomes The Salvation Army of Effingham County as a new Chamber member. Since the early 1990’s, The Salvation Army has been a trusted resource in the community by providing assistance, support, and hope to individuals and families in need.
Through a variety of programs and services, The Salvation Army works directly with residents to address immediate needs while also offering long-term support. Their mission-driven work plays an important role in strengthening the community and supporting neighbors during difficult times.
“We’re grateful to have our local The Salvation Army as part of the Chamber,” said Katie Koester, President & CEO of the Effingham County Chamber. “Their commitment to helping others makes a real difference, and we value their presence in our business community.”
The Salvation Army can be found on Facebook @TSAEffinghamCounty, where they regularly share updates, volunteer opportunities, and ways the community can help support their mission.
By joining the Chamber, The Salvation Army is deepening its connection to local businesses and organizations while continuing its focus on service and community impact.
This Chamber membership was made possible through the Pay It Forward Program, sponsored by Heartland Dental, a Chamber Capital Investor, which allows Capital Investors to gift Chamber memberships to local non-profits, helping them expand their reach and impact in Effingham County.
