Decatur, Illinois, February 2nd, 2026 – Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced Friday that the final tally of donations collected through the LLCU Designated Charity of the Year Program for each LLCU market has been determined and disbursed. The amount raised by employees and matched by the organization totaled $15,000 – which has been distributed to ten (10) different designated non-profit service organizations (listed below).
Several years ago, LLCU launched the “Charity of the Year” program, which encourages employees to personally donate to a designated charity for each LLCU market (these non-profit organizations are nominated and voted for by LLCU employees). Then, LLCU employees are provided with an opportunity to donate either through payroll distribution, branch fundraising efforts, or a combination of the two.
