Decatur, Illinois, February 11th, 2025 – Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced Tuesday that the final tally of donations LLCU’s designated Charity of the Year organizations in each market has been determined and disbursed.
Several years ago, LLCU launched the “Charity of the Year” program which encourages employees to donate to a designated charity in each market with an LLCU branch. LLCU employees can donate either through payroll distribution, branch fundraising efforts, or a combination of the two.
The amount raised by employees is then matched by the organization. As a result of program participation in 2024, LLCU donated $20,000 to ten (10) different designated non-profit service organizations that were nominated and selected by LLCU employees at the start of 2024.
