Decatur, Illinois, August 19th, 2026– Land of Lincoln Credit Union (LLCU) announced that Taylor Rhodes will now serve as Branch Manager of the Effingham South branch (2302 S. Banker St.). Rhodes will oversee the sales and operations of the Effingham South branch, as well as serving members as Loan Officer. Rhodes has been with LLCU for two years and during that time has successfully transitioned from the role of Teller to Universal Banker at LLCU’s at Vandalia, IL branch.
Prior to working for LLCU, Rhodes worked at The FNB Community Bank. Before working in banking, she was a Music Education Student Teacher at local colleges and high schools. She credits a lot of her foundation in leadership to her experiences as a Drum Major at Vandalia High School and in volunteering and practicing music education.
“Much of my previous experience is rooted in leadership, teaching and learning, and I am so excited to be a part of bringing those qualities to LLCU,” states Rhodes. She continues “I am looking forward to making a lasting positive impact and helping create a professional, proficient and trustworthy environment for not only our LLCU employees, but also for our members and surrounding communities.”
Rhodes values connecting with others and finding ways to help in her community. In her free time, she enjoys relaxing with a good book or building Lego sets while watching movies. Her office is located at 2302 S. Banker St. Effingham, IL, 62401.
