Application/nomination materials due Friday, March 20
CHARLESTON, IL (02/16/2026) Eastern Illinois University’s Distinguished Senior Awards applications and nominations are due Friday, March 20.
EIU’s Distinguished Senior Award recipients are selected by the EIU Alumni Association Board of Directors, and this year’s awards will be announced and celebrated at an awards ceremony scheduled for April 25, 2026.
EIU students looking to submit an application to be considered for this award must be graduating in the Spring, Summer, or Fall semester of 2026 and have a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.0 or higher.
Community members, EIU alumni, EIU employees or relatives of EIU students they think should be considered for this award also may submit nominations.
Competed nominations and applications for EIU’s Distinguished Senior Awards are due by Friday, March 20, 2026 and can be accessed at eiu.edu/alumniassociation/seniorawards. A list of last year’s Distinguished Senior Award recipients also is on the site.
