Effingham, IL – February 20, 2024 – The Effingham County Chamber announces the 2024 Career Fair, scheduled to take place on Thursday, March 21st, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the Keller Convention Center located at 1202 N Keller Dr., Effingham.
This complimentary Career Fair, presented by the City of Effingham and The Krusteaz Company, serves as a valuable platform for local businesses to connect with talented individuals seeking employment opportunities. With a commitment to easing hiring needs, this year’s fair will offer complimentary services to both employers and job seekers.
Attendees will have access to professional headshots courtesy of Piotrowski Studios, along with mock interviews and resume reviews by seasoned industry leaders to help them prepare for potential employment opportunities.
In addition to the fair itself, informative sessions led by an industry expert will be provided. Sarah Hill, Director of Library Services at Lake Land College, will present on the topic of generative AI and its implications for the workplace. This presentation aims to provide valuable insights into emerging technologies and their potential impact on hiring and workforce management.
For participating businesses, Sarah will host an employer-focused breakfast session at 7:30 AM, providing an opportunity for networking and deeper discussions on relevant industry topics.
