Enjoy a sweet treat, support your local Children’s Miracle Network hospital!

SPRINGFIELD, Ill. — HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital is inviting everyone to participate in Miracle Treat Day on Thursday, July 25. Participating Dairy Queen (DQ) ® locations in Central Illinois will come together to raise funds for HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital.

Dairy Queen® will be bringing hope and health to kids at 170 Children’s Miracle Network hospitals across the U.S. and Canada. For every Blizzard® Treat purchased from participating DQ locations in Central Illinois, $1 or more will go towards HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital in Springfield.

St. John’s Children’s Hospital was built from a generous gift from a donor in the Springfield community, who recognized that children require specialized medical care. As the only children’s hospital in Springfield, the donations received from Miracle Treat Day help fund life-changing medical care and programs, such as child life services and Beyond the NICU program, which allow children in the community to be treated as kids.

“Miracle Treat Day is an easy way to spread joy and support the children in your community who need medical care,” shared Alexandria House, Philanthropy Specialist for HSHS St. John’s Foundation. “By purchasing a Blizzard® Treat, you are helping to provide our community with the best medical care possible, designed to meet the unique needs of children and their families.”
