Effingham, IL – April 28, 2023, The Effingham County Chamber will host its First Friday Luncheon on Friday, May 5 at the Holiday Inn Effingham in rooms Truman/Roosevelt.
In recognition of May being Mental Health Awareness Month, our feature topic will be Welcoming Wellness in the Workplace. Mental Health Awareness Month is a national movement to raise awareness about mental health and help fight the stigma that it carries.
Our guest speakers include:
- Afthen Reens, MSW, LCSW of Heartland Human Services
- Ashley Dillingham, MSSW, LSW of HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital
The goal of this luncheon is to help educate the public and bring to light the support needed by many people in Effingham County affected by mental illness.
We also welcome Wright’s Furniture & Flooring as our featured business for May.
We invite the community to attend this resource-filled luncheon while enjoying a Cinco de Mayo-inspired plated lunch.
