Effingham, IL – December 17, 2025 — The Effingham County Chamber welcomes Fear Nothing as its newest member. Fear Nothing is a local nonprofit organization dedicated to providing meaningful support and assistance to cancer patients and their families throughout Effingham County and surrounding communities.
Founded by cancer survivor Jodi Waymoth, Fear Nothing grew from a deeply personal journey of resilience and compassion. After facing her own diagnoses and treatments, Waymoth launched the organization to help others navigating the challenges of cancer care. Since its inception, Fear Nothing has raised significant funds to assist patients with immediate needs such as gift cards, transportation support, and other practical resources, ensuring that 100% of donations remain within the community it serves.
“Fear Nothing plays a vital role in our region by offering encouragement and tangible support to individuals and families who are fighting cancer,” said Chamber President & CEO, Katie Koester. “We are honored to have them join the Chamber and look forward to helping connect them with additional community partners and resources.”
