Effingham, IL – November 1, 2022, The Downtown Effingham Business Group (DEBG), an affiliate partner of the Effingham County Chamber, invites you to Downtown Effingham this weekend for a Holiday Open House.
Get your holiday shopping started early by shopping locally at the annual Downtown Effingham Holiday Open House on Friday, November 4 10:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m., and Saturday, November 5 10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.
Many of the downtown retailers, restaurants, and businesses will be rolling out the holiday red carpet for you with in-store specials and plenty of holiday cheer. The downtown businesses will be decorated and stocked with the season’s best décor and gifts sure to please everyone on Santa’s list.
New this year is a holiday scavenger hunt! When you visit one of the below stores and find the hidden item, you will get your “Holiday Open House Passport” stamped. Once you have found the items in 10+ stores, you will turn your passport into the last store to be entered to win a Downtown Effingham themed gift basket.
Participating stores include Baseball Card Connection, The Beanstalk Boutique, Blissful Bites, Browns Drug Store, Daisies & Denim Boutique, Favorite Things, Gopher’s Grill, Hazel-Jayne, Humbled Soul Boutique, Joe Sipper’s Café, Kirby’s IGA, Noah’s Ark Pet Shoppe, W.S. Broom & Co. Furniture, and XCHNG.
