Effingham, IL – May 18, 2026 — The Effingham County Chamber welcomes The Flower Patch as a new member.
Located on the family’s centennial farm, 11434 E 1550th Avenue in Effingham, The Flower Patch is a third-generation, mother-and-daughter-owned garden center and greenhouse dedicated to helping the community grow and enjoy beautiful spaces. With years of hands-on experience, The Flower Patch offers a wide selection of plants, flowers, and seasonal favorites for gardeners of all levels. Whether customers are looking to enhance their home landscape, start a garden, or simply bring a bit of color into their day, the team is committed to providing quality products and friendly, knowledgeable service.
As a family-owned business, The Flower Patch takes pride in creating a welcoming environment where customers feel at home while exploring their greenhouse and garden center. Their love for flowers and connection to the community is evident in everything they do, from carefully curated plant selections to personalized customer interactions.
The Flower Patch holds classes and parties for kids & adults which focus on plant care tips & tricks and creating custom planters, fairy gardens, and hanging baskets. Private classes can be scheduled by contacting Mary or Emily.
