Effingham, IL – February 27, 2026— The Effingham County Chamber welcomes Project J4-29 as a new member.
Project J4-29 is a local 501(c)3 nonprofit organization focused on supporting senior students and school staff as students transition into their next chapter of life. The organization was created to show encouragement and appreciation for students’ accomplishments and the dedication of the staff who help guide them. Their mission centers on recognizing milestones and celebrating the individuals who make a lasting impact in our community.
One of Project J4-29’s primary fundraisers are the creation and sale of custom 2×2 and 2-½ x 3-½ magnets, all made locally in Effingham. In addition to their own fundraising efforts, they partner with other organizations to assist with raising funds for various causes. Examples of their magnet work and past projects can be viewed on their Facebook page.
Project J4-29 can be found on Facebook by searching Project J4-29. Donations may be mailed or dropped off locally at 23 South Lakewood Dr., Effingham, IL 62401, and questions can be directed to ProjectJ429@yahoo.com or by calling 217-722-7111.
