Effingham, IL – September 6, 2023, The Effingham County Chamber is delighted to announce the upcoming Chamber of Commerce Week, set to take place from September 10 to September 16. This week-long celebration highlights the essential role that chambers of commerce play in fostering economic growth and promoting community unity.

Chamber of Commerce Week serves as a platform to recognize and celebrate the tireless efforts of chambers of commerce across the nation, including our very own Effingham County Chamber. These organizations serve as catalysts for business success, supporting local businesses, driving economic development, and strengthening the fabric of our communities.

Lucinda Hart, CAE, MBA, IOM, President & CEO of the Effingham County Chamber, expressed her enthusiasm, stating, “Chamber of Commerce Week is a time for us to reflect on the pivotal role chambers play in supporting businesses and fostering community growth. We’re proud to celebrate this week with our members and partners.”

Chamber of Commerce Week is also an opportunity for local businesses to get involved and demonstrate their commitment to community development. It’s a chance to connect with fellow business leaders, participate in events, and explore the myriad benefits of chamber membership.

As we mark Chamber of Commerce Week, the Effingham County Chamber had the distinct pleasure of meeting with Mayor Mike Schutzbach to proclaim September 10 to 16 Chamber of Commerce Week. The Chamber invites all members, partners, and the community at large to join us in celebrating this important occasion. Together, we can continue to promote economic growth and strengthen the bonds of our vibrant community.
