Effingham, IL – June 5, 2026 —Air Methods and its local ARCH Air Medical base in Effingham Base are now members of the Effingham County Chamber.

ARCH 3 provides emergency air medical transportation and critical care services throughout Effingham County and beyond. As part of ARCH Air Medical, the base is one of nine Air Methods owned and operated bases in the state of Illinois. As part of Air Methods, one of the nation’s leading air medical providers, ARCH helps connect patients to advanced medical care during life-threatening emergencies and critical situations.

The base is staffed by Air Methods’ highly trained pilots, clinicians, and mechanics. In addition to a variety of specialized medical equipment, crews also carry whole blood for in-flight administration to patients experiencing severe blood loss and at risk of hemorrhagic shock.

In addition to providing high-quality critical care, ARCH Air Medical is in-network with most major insurance providers. Their patient advocacy program also works directly with patients and families, regardless of insurance status, to ensure access to care remains affordable and stress-free. Prepaid membership is not required.

The ARCH 3 base is located at 306 Professional Park Avenue in Effingham. Community members and healthcare partners can learn more about services, outreach, and safety education through the local outreach team or by visiting the company online.
