As a business client, you can expect:
- Guidance from an experienced entrepreneur in residence
- Help in developing a clear plan for accomplishing your goals
- Objective and constructive feedback about your progress toward your goals
- Courteous and equitable treatment from all Effingham Chamber of Commerce personnel
- Complete confidentiality regarding every aspect of the information we discuss with you
- Prompt personal attention from Entrepreneur in Residence (EIR) to resolve any problems or complaints about the service you receive
- Follow-up contact from the EIR regarding your business’s economic impact
As a client, we expect you to:
- Communicate honestly and directly about all aspects of your business
- Be respectful and positive with your EIR
- Follow through on the work you and your EIR agree is necessary to accomplish your goals
- Be open-minded about alternatives your EIR suggests
- Provide a minimum of 24-hour notice if you are unable to keep any appointments with your EIR
- Assist us in the future by providing honest feedback about the quality of service you received from us, by responding to periodic surveys
- Respond to requests for information from your EIR regarding your business’s economic impact
Agreement: I request business consultation service from the Effingham Country Chamber and their Entrepreneur in Residence Program and I agree to cooperate should I be selected to participate in surveys designed to evaluate these services. I understand that any information disclosed will be held in strict confidence. Neither the Chamber nor the EIR will provide your personal information to commercial entities.
I further understand that the EIR will provide three hours of consulting for free and will charge a discounted rate of $60 per hour for additional hours of consulting. In consideration of the provision of management and/or technical assistance by a EIR, I agree to waive all claims arising out of this assistance, against the EIR, the resource partner from whom I sought assistance, its host organizations, and the counselor(s) arising from this assistance.
