Thank you for your interest in serving as a volunteer mentor and using your skills and experience to help entrepreneurs start a business and achieve new levels of success in their existing businesses.
Volunteering as a mentor is a way for you to give back, connect with fellow business owners, share your knowledge with the next generation of entrepreneurs in our community. You will provide confidential business mentoring services, both individually and as part of a group, to help business owners meet their goals and start their business on the way to success. Whether you have owned your own business, come from a Fortune 500 company, are retired or are in another stage of your career, your commitment to helping businesses succeed is the first step in becoming a successful business mentor.
Generally, mentors are asked to make a one-year commitment to the program, with the understanding that your services as a mentor could average contacts twice each month. These contacts can be in person, by phone or by email.
If you have questions while completing the form below, please call Membership Director Becky Brown at the Effingham County Chamber at (217) 342-4147.
