EFFINGHAM, Ill. – May 29, 2026 – Midland States Bank announced a $50,000 commitment to Community Support Systems (CSS) in support of the organization’s “One Community. Under One Roof.” capital campaign. The pledge will provide $10,000 annually over the next five years to help renovate and expand CSS’s Community Day Services building in Teutopolis.
The campaign aims to create a more centralized, accessible space where individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities can access services, build skills, and strengthen community connections under one roof. Midland’s investment aligns with the Bank’s Community Impact Investment Statement (CIIS), which guides the organization’s efforts to create stronger communities through economic empowerment, accessibility, and meaningful partnerships.
“Community is strongest when everyone has the opportunity to belong, grow, and thrive,” said Jeff Ludwig, Chief Executive Officer of Midland States Bank. “Community Support Systems is creating a space that will expand access, connection, and support for individuals and families across the region. Midland is proud to invest in organizations that are building brighter futures and creating lasting impact in the communities we serve.”
Community Support Systems provides programs and services that empower individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities through education, employment support, life skills development, and community-based programming.
“Partnerships like this help move our mission forward in a meaningful way,” said Andy Kistler, Executive Director for Community Support Systems. “Midland’s commitment will help us create a more inclusive and supportive environment for the individuals and families we serve every day. We value the trust Midland States Bank has placed in our programs and services.”
Midland States Bank continues to support organizations and initiatives that strengthen local communities and advance opportunities for individuals and families throughout its footprint.
