Special Education Teacher at Effingham Junior High School for the 2026-27 School Year

Requirements:
• Professional Educator License and LBS1 Endorsement

Preferences:
• Prior teaching experience and/or additional endorsements
• Knowledge of IEP Development and Case Management, Special Education Law, Data Collection, Differentiation and Intervention for Academic and Social-Emotional Needs, Current Illinois Learning Standards in all Areas, Technology Integration, Co-Teaching, Discrete Trial, Innovation and Creativity
• Must be flexible and able to work with different professionals, therapists, age-groups and severity/involvement levels, Innovation and Creativity
• English as a Second Language Endorsement and/or other additional endorsements preferred, but not required
• Fluent in verbal and written English and Spanish preferred, but not required
