Effingham, IL – March 20, 2026— The Effingham County Chamber welcomes FACE (Fine Arts, County of Effingham) as a new member.
F.A.C.E. has been a vibrant part of the Effingham County arts community since its founding in 1973, when a group of local arts enthusiasts came together to promote drama, music, dance, and visual arts in the area. Over the decades, F.A.C.E. has grown to offer orchestral and choral performances, theatrical productions, scholarships, and community engagement opportunities that enrich cultural life throughout the region.
In addition to its year-round programming, F.A.C.E. participates in community events including Downtown Effingham’s Hometown Christmas celebration, bringing music and festive spirits to residents and visitors alike.
This Chamber membership was made possible through the Pay It Forward Program, sponsored by First Mid Bank & Trust, a Chamber Capital Investor. The program allows Capital Investors to gift Chamber memberships to local non-profits, helping them expand their reach and impact throughout Effingham County.
“We’re grateful to First Mid Bank & Trust for investing in our nonprofit community through the Pay It Forward Program,” said Katie Koester, President & CEO of the Effingham County Chamber. “Organizations like F.A.C.E. play an important role in the cultural landscape of our region, and we’re proud to support their continued growth and visibility.”
F.A.C.E. can be reached by email FACEattheMall@gmail.com and through their Facebook page at @FACE Fine Arts, County of Effingham, where they share upcoming performances, event information, and ways to get involved.
