Effingham, IL – March 20, 2026 — The Effingham County Chamber recently welcomed Effingham Axe Throwing as a new member and celebrated the business’s new ownership and membership with a ribbon cutting ceremony.
Now owned by Charlie Ring and Paris Van Dyke, Effingham Axe offers a unique and interactive entertainment experience right in the heart of downtown Effingham. The venue provides a fun setting for friends, families, coworkers, and groups to try their hand at axe throwing while enjoying a casual, welcoming atmosphere.
Whether you’re planning a night out, a team-building activity, or a small celebration, Effingham Axe Throwing offers a memorable way to spend time with others while learning the basics of this fast-growing recreational sport.
Effingham Axe is located at 306 S. 4th Street, Suite B in Effingham. Guests can reserve lanes in advance or stop in during open hours to experience axe throwing for themselves.

Friday: 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
Saturday: 3:00 PM – 10:00 PM
