EFFINGHAM, Ill. To help protect people in the community from accidental ingestion or overdose of medication, HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital has placed a safe drug disposal bin just inside of the hospital’s main entrance. This locked and secured bin is for any unused or expired prescription and over-the-counter medications, and can be accessed during the hours the main entrance is open – Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
