Since opening its doors in 1993, the restaurant has become a staple in the community, serving not only Effingham but also surrounding towns including Neoga, Greenup, Newton, Dieterich, Altamont, and Beecher City.

Known for vibrant flavors, a welcoming atmosphere, and outstanding service, El Rancherito offers a wide variety of menu items from savory tacos and hearty burritos to combination platters and signature lunch and dinner specials.
