Effingham, IL, July 10, 2025 – The Effingham County Chamber welcomes Wright Choice Counseling as a new member. With offices in Vandalia and Effingham, Illinois, Wright Choice Counseling offers compassionate, faith-based mental health services to individuals, couples, and families across the region.
Founded by Licensed Clinical Social Worker Jessica Wright, the practice was established to address the growing need for accessible, personalized therapy in rural communities. Wright Choice Counseling provides a wide range of services, including psychotherapy, trauma therapy, play-based therapy, couples counseling, and specialized support for military personnel and first responders. Their team utilizes evidence-based approaches such as EMDR, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to support clients in their healing journeys.
Wright Choice Counseling is committed to creating a welcoming, judgment-free atmosphere where clients can receive the support they deserve. They offer in-person sessions at their Vandalia and Effingham offices, as well as secure telehealth options for clients who prefer or require remote access to therapy. Recognizing that reaching out for help can be challenging, they also accept text messages for initial consultations, providing an alternative for those who may feel uncomfortable making a phone call.
