Teutopolis, IL: In celebration of World Flour Day, Siemer Milling Company has recently donated boxes of Swan’s Down Cake Flour to Catholic Charities Food Pantry and St. John’s Lutheran Food Pantry in the Teutopolis and Effingham communities. This initiative aligns with this year’s World Flour Day theme, “Feeding the world starts with feeding your community. Let your actions speak!”

World Flour Day, observed annually on March 20, highlights the importance of flour as a staple food and emphasizes the responsibility of the milling industry in supporting local communities.

“I’m pleased to get to help celebrate World Flour Day by feeding our communities!” said Amanda Rieman, a Siemer Milling employee involved in the donation. “Thank you to all of the volunteers leading these food pantries and SMC employees for making a nutritious, budget friendly food product!”
