(Charleston, IL) – Beginning in Fall 2023, all Eastern Illinois University students and employees will have access to the complete Adobe Creative Suite/Cloud at no cost, eliminating any need for students or employees to buy Adobe software for personal use on their computers. Adobe Creative Cloud provides apps, web services, and resources for several types of digital creation projects, including photography, graphic design, video editing, UX design, drawing and painting, social media, and more.
This service stems from EIU’s mission to enhance support for instructional curricula and addresses the digital divide many of today’s students face. All students, with the exception of dual credit students, are eligible.
The service is available by way of a partnership with all Illinois public higher education institutions to secure Creative Suite at an appreciably reduced cost. This has resulted in substantial savings for EIU students while also expanding access to the software for the entire student community. The Adobe agreement is for three years, and any eligible student will have access for the duration of the Adobe agreement. Students will need to re-apply for access annually based on their enrollment eligibility.

EIU prepares students to accomplish their life goals through a combination of quality academics, personal relationships, and both on-campus and online learning opportunities.
