Full Job Description

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Perform all work tasks in a safe manner.
• Complete assignments timely, accurately and with a high degree of quality.
• Unload cartons from containers by hand and stack items onto pallets.
• Piece pick and stack items onto pallets to fulfill customer orders.
• Process customer orders via internal systems and or customer portals.
• Utilize a computer, tablet and or handheld scanner to record electronic transactions.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Work on facility maintenance and housekeeping as needed.
• Follow all safety rules.
• Follow instructions for operating equipment and record keeping.
• Daily attendance and good punctuality.
• Other tasks or projects assigned by management.

Required Qualifications:

• Must have access to reliable transportation.
• Must be flexible with shift start and end times when changes are needed.
• Must be able to work overtime with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Exceptional attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Good basic math skills.
• Must be willing to assist in all areas of the warehouse.

Preferred Qualifications:

• One year of experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience utilizing material handling equipment (rider pallet jack, pallet jack, pallet wrapper).
• Experience utilizing computers in a warehouse or distribution center environment.
• Experience utilizing RF scanners.

Physical Demands and Abilities:

• Frequently lift up to 60 pounds and adjust body position to bend, stoop, stand, walk, turn, pivot, and stand for long periods of time.
• Having a good sense of balance.
• Having good eye-hand-foot coordination.
• Ability to assess weights and judge distances and heights.
• Ability to work in varying temperatures, depending upon season.
