CIPT Maintenance Technician

Maintenance Technician needed for Central Illinois Public Transit at our maintenance facility in Shelbyville, Illinois.

The primary function of this position is to maintain, repair, and service a variety of public transit vehicles and related equipment.

Requirements:

• Current Valid Class D license.
• An associate degree in automotive technology, vocational education, or related field preferred although experience which has led to the requisite skills and knowledge needed to perform the above may be considered in place of degree.
• Candidates must have a High School diploma or equivalent and a valid Class D license.
• CDL will be required within the first year of hire, agency provided training.
