POSTING OF VACANCY
For the 2026-27 School Year
Full-Time (4-Hr Routes) and Part-Time (2-Hr Mid-Day Routes)
Deadline to Apply: June 18, 2026
Requirements:
• Qualified for Commercial Driver’s License and IL School Bus Drivers Permit
• Pass Illinois State Police background check
• Safe Driving Record as per the IL State Board of Education
• Cautious, safe driver
• Can relate to and control bus students
• Knowledge of Effingham School District #40 road system
• Follows instructions well
• Punctual and dependable
Training for drivers will be available
