The blood drive will be from 1:00 pm to 4:30 pm on Monday\, July 13 at 1501 W. Fayette Ave.\, inside Banquet Room \nWhat: Effingham Event Center Community Blood Drive \nWhen: Monday\, July 13\, 1p – 4:30p \nWhere: Banquet Room\, 1501 W. Fayette Ave.\, Effingham\, IL \nAppointments: To donate\, please contact ImpactLife Urbana at (800) 747-5401 or visit www.bloodcenter.org and use code 70751 to locate the drive. Appointments are requested. \nDonor Eligibility Criteria: Potential donors must be at least 17 years of age (16 with parental permission form available through www.bloodcenter.org) and weigh more than 110 pounds. A photo I.D. is required to donate. For questions about eligibility\, please call ImpactLife at (800) 747-5401. Donors who last gave blood on or before 5/18/26 are eligible to give at this drive. \nAbout Blood Donation: Blood donation is a safe\, simple procedure that takes about 45 minutes to one hour. DESCRIPTION:Students entering 5th through 8th grade are invited to explore the exciting world of healthcare during the 3rd annual Jr. Laker Healthcare Camp in Effingham. Hosted by Lake Land College with support from the Perkins Program and community partners\, this interactive camp introduces campers to a variety of healthcare careers through hands on activities and engaging experiences. \nEach evening focuses on a different healthcare field\, giving students the opportunity to learn directly from professionals while discovering potential career paths.
