SUMMARY:United Way Drawdown Fundraiser
DESCRIPTION:The United Way of Effingham County Drawdown Fundraiser coming up on August 15th at the Effingham Event Center! (This event will take place of the previously held Witches Ball that was in October.) \nThis is a fun\, new and casual event that we are hosting in Effingham County for community members to be able to support 19 different health and human service agencies within the county. These agencies are doing anything from providing meals to the elderly\, pairing mentors with children\, removing individuals from unsafe situations\, advocating for children\, supporting child literacy and SO much more. United Way of Effingham County spends our time supporting these programs in any way we can\, primarily by fundraising\, so they can spend time helping those in need within OUR community. 99% of United Way of Effingham County funds stay local and that is something we take MAJOR pride in! \nWhat’s a drawdown? It’s a reverse raffle where you have the chance to go home with $2\,025! Yup\, win $2025 at the 2025 United Way Drawdown! But that’s not the only way to go home with something awesome\, no way. There’s TONS of good prizes. There’s going to be games (Buck Hunter\, Golden Tee\, a CLAW MACHINE)\, there’s going to be GOOD food\, COLD drinks\, Backroad Boogie is coming for some entertainment AND we’re giving away a scooter! Best of all? Yeah\, it’s an air-conditioned event!😉 \nGrab your friends\, take a moment to treat your employees\, have a date night\, whatever you want to call it.
