Unit 40 Mentoring Program – New Mentor Training
The Unit 40 Mentoring Program will be hosting a training for anyone interested in becoming a new mentor on May 24, 2022 at 12pm at Central School in Effingham.
Do you have an extra 40 minutes per week, during the school year, to make a difference? Mentors meet with the same student each week, have lunch, play games and have fun! Lunch times vary by grade level from 11-1:30pm.
The training will be a 30 minute presentation on our program. Each new applicant will fill out an application and 2 background checks.
We are training mentors now to start mentoring in the fall. Join us!
