SUMMARY:Summer Solstice Event
DESCRIPTION:Join Flying Buddha at Lake Sara on the Summer Solstice to celebrate the changing of the seasons! \nWe will begin the evening with Stand Up Paddleboard Yoga lead by Vicki in a quiet Lake Sara cove. Enjoy beginner-friendly yoga on a paddleboard. The gentle movement of the paddleboard adds both challenge and relaxation. We will launch and bank at Kiki’s Paddleboards launch point near the Lake Sara Beach Pavilions. A limited number of paddleboards will be provided by Kiki’s Paddleboards. \nWhen we return to shore\, we will take a short break\, then head to the fire pit between the pavilions for a Sound Bath lead by Kaycie. Settle in on your yoga mat and get comfortable while you listen to the playing of bowls\, gongs\, and chimes as well as all the sounds provided by the natural surroundings. \nStick around after the Sound Bath on the longest day of the year for a Drum and Song Circle. This circle is a free form\, collaborative experience where all are encouraged to add sound or simply listen and enjoy the community. If you plan to participate in the Drum and Song Circle\, please bring your own instrument. \nCost:\n$40 – registration required \nThere are 3 ticket options available for this event: \n\nFull Experience – Paddleboard included: Includes SUP Yoga\, a board provided by Kiki’s\, Sound Bath\, and Drum & Song Circle\nFull Experience – No Paddleboard: Includes SUP Yoga\, Sound Bath and Drum & Song Circle. You must bring your own paddleboard.\nSound Bath Only – Includes admittance to the Sound Bath and Drum & Song Circle only.\n\nIf you would like to attend the Drum & Song Circle only\, no ticket is required.
