DESCRIPTION:Join us as we celebrate the ribbon cutting for the HSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital Center for Pediatric Therapy—the first and only comprehensive center of its kind in the region. This new child-friendly facility is designed to support growth\, mobility\, and independence\, offering specialized speech\, physical\, and occupational therapy services tailored to meet the unique needs of children. \nHSHS St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital invites community members to celebrate the opening of the new Center with an open house on Thursday\, Nov. 13\, from 4:30 to 7 p.m. The evening kicks off with a ribbon-cutting event at 4:30 p.m. with the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce. \nLocated at 904 Medical Park Drive in Effingham\, the Center for Pediatric Therapy represents a transformative expansion in pediatric health care for the region. The 4\,600-square-foot facility is the first and only comprehensive center of its kind serving Effingham\, Coles and surrounding counties\, offering innovative treatment in a child-friendly environment designed to promote development\, improve mobility and encourage independence. \nOpen House Highlights: \n\nRibbon cutting with the Effingham County Chamber of Commerce at 4:30 p.m.\nGuided tours of the state-of-the-art facility\nMeet the therapy team and learn about specialized programs and services\nFamily-friendly activities featuring the center’s unique amenities\, including a climbing rock wall and adaptive playground\nLight refreshments will be provided\nEnter for door prize of a JBL Bluetooth speaker\n\nThe Center for Pediatric Therapy offers specialized care for children with autism spectrum disorder\, ADHD\, sensory processing disorder\, cerebral palsy\, muscular dystrophy\, developmental delays\, traumatic brain injuries and other congenital conditions. Advanced therapies include pediatric pelvic floor therapy\, intensive therapy with the Universal Exercise Unit (SpiderCage)\, TOT Savvy for tongue ties\, sensory processing interventions\, augmentative and alternative communication\, and advanced pediatric feeding therapy. \nThe public is encouraged to tour the newest facility for HSHS St. Anthony’s Rehab and Wellness\, which is in addition to their adult therapy services offered at the Richard E.
