You’re invited to the 6th Annual Trivia Night benefitting the Effingham Unit #40 Mentoring Program.

The Effingham Unit #40 Mentoring Program provides youth access to an adult outside their immediate family who can provide support, encouragement, and a role model to emulate. The one-on-one attention of a mentor is a way to reach out, in a very personal way, to students searching to find their way to adulthood.

The purpose of mentors is not to take the place of parents or guardians, but only to supplement them. Mentors are neither counselors nor tutors, but friends. The goal of Unit 40’s Mentoring Program is to give support to students as well as their parents and caregivers so that our children can be as successful as possible in both school and life.

The State of Illinois Mentoring Partnership has recognized Unit 40 Mentor Program for reaching their highest level of best practices in the field of mentoring. We are proud that we hold the highest standards for our mentors and students. Click here to learn more or donate to the program.

Snacks will be available for purchase by Ginger Ale’s or you may bring your own!
Alcoholic beverages and soda will be available for purchase.

$10 raffle tickets (can be purchased online, from a board member, or at the event)
