40th Anniversary of the Printers Row Lit Fest
The Printers Row Lit Fest, the largest literary festival in the Midwest will celebrate its 40th anniversary on Saturday, September 6, and Sunday, September 7, from 10am to 6pm on South Dearborn Ave. between Ida B. Wells Dr. and Polk St. in Chicago’s historic Printers Row neighborhood.
It features Sandra Cisneros, writer and author of “House on Mango Street” as keynote speaker and headliner, more than 70 live programs on six indoor and outdoor stages, over 100 independent booksellers, six Pulitzer Prize winners, children’s storytelling, best selling authors, publishers, literary organizations, educational institutions, food vendors, and more.
Admission is free.
